St. David's Cathedral & Bishops Palace

St Davids Cathedral (Welsh: Eglwys Gadeiriol Tyddewi) is situated in St Davids in the county of Pembrokeshire, on the most westerly point of Wales. Authorized in 1123, begun in 1181 and completed in mid-13th century. Under Bishop Gower (1328–1347) the Bishops Palace was added intended as a permanent reminder of his episcopacy. (The palace is now a picturesque ruin.)
